Jane Mckay is a published author, primary school teacher and an award winning artist. Her first book 'Tess and the Star Traveller' was published in 2004 to rave reviews.

Jane McKay has paintings in Australian and international collections and regularly exhibits in Australia and overseas including exhibitions in New York, Los Angeles, Hong Kong, Kyoto and Singapore.

She has worked as a primary school teacher and art specialist, initiating the creation of stunning public art projects with local Perth primary schools. Jane has been a panel member in a number of writer's Festivals and has been a judge for children's art awards.

She regularly conducts illustration and writing workshops as ell as author talks for primary school children in Perth.
